All our propagation material (seeds and cuttings) are collected from East Anglia and other suitable English locations and are certificated for their British Provenance.

  • Our bare rooted hedge plants are two year transplants, not cheaper imported seedling stock. (The difference being clear, with a more fibrous root system and better branched, leading to bushier growth)
  • Our bare rooted hedge plants are fresh, handled with care and are out of the ground for as short a time as possible and are dipped in P4 polymer gel and bagged prior to dispatch, to keep the root system moist.
  • Our pot grown ornamental hedge plants are grown in non-peat based compost, specially developed by Botanica. (Peat Bogs take 10,000 years to form, yet more than 94% of lowland bogs in the UK have been destroyed or damaged and once destroyed they are gone forever.
