Excellent dessert and cooking apple. Fruit large, deep green, coloured crimson on one side. Flesh crisp but tender when ripe. Spicy flavour, pleasing aroma. A prolific and a regular cropper. Suitable for heavy, cold soils. Lincolnshire C.1908
