Hornbeam Hedging - Carpinus Betulus

Hornbeam Hedging - Carpinus Betulus The common hornbeam is a classic native hedgerow plant, which retains its russet coloured leaves through most of the winter. Hornbeam is often used in place of Beech, especially on heavy soils.

Hornbeam plants are dispatched as bare root hedging from November to April or as pot grown hedging all year round.

We also grow Hornbeam as large specimen shrubs, please contact us for details.

When quality is important use superior English Grown stock. All our plants are English grown English provenance stock.
