Escallonia iveyi - Hedging- Botanica

Large panicles of white flowers in the autumn make this plant shine out from the others, not to mention the handsome evergreen glossy foliage. Escallonia iveyi is one of my favourites.

This excellent semi-evergreen shrub is fast growing and makes for a superb thick hedge and is ideal in windy coastal situations. Escallonia macrantha has deep rose crimson flowers.

Escallonia rubra Crimson Spire - Hedging- Botanica

This evergreen shrub is a strong grower, making a perfect hedge. If left alone, it will form a beautiful shrub with large dark green leaves and bright crimson flowers and will grow up to 2 metres.
