English Yew Hedging - Taxus Baccata
The English Yew is a familiar sight in churchyards and formal hedges across the country. Yew makes one of the best formal evergreen hedging subjects, and is not as slow growing as many people think and is easy to look after with little pruning needed.
Yew can also be a wonderful tree, its deep green leaves set off in autumn by its cerise berries.
Yew plants are dispatched as bare root hedging from November to April or as pot grown hedging all year round.
