Western Red Cedar - Thuya plicata

Western Red Cedar - Thuya plicataThe western red cedar is a tall conical tree with reddish brown bark with horizontal or hanging sprays of foliage.

Western red cedar makes a good alternative to the ubiquitous ‘Leylandlii’ with darker green and thicker foliage.

Western Red Cedar plants are dispatched as bare root hedging from November to April or as pot grown hedging all year round.

We also grow Western Red Cedar as large specimen shrubs, please contact us for details.

When quality is important use superior English Grown stock. All our plants are English grown English provenance stock.
