Barberry - Berberis wilsoniae Hedging
This, more unusual, small hedging shrub was
introduced from China by Ernest Wilson. It has small light green leaves
on thorny stems. A wonderful sight when the autumn foliage blends
beautifully with the coral pink of the fruit clusters.
When quality is important use superior English Grown stock. All our plants are English grown English provenance stock. They are heavy transplants (not cheaper imported seedling stock) which give a more fibrous root system and a better branched plant.
