Hazel

Our native Hazel is a good plant for tough conditions and benefits wildlife. Attractive autumnal foliage tints of soft yellow.

Corylus maxima

Prices start from £3.75 for 60/90cm plants. Also available are larger sizes of hedging. Please email or phone for a quotation.

Filbert - Corylus maxima - English Native English Grown

Filbert

Makes a large deciduous shrub with large heart shaped leaves. The nuts are bigger than hazelnuts and ripen September to October. Introduced from the Balkans in 1759.
