Dense panicles of very fragrant single or double flowers in late spring and early summer in various shades of blue mauve. Common Lilac is a reliable plant for the formal or wild garden.

When quality is important use superior English Grown stock. All our plants are English grown English provenance stock. They are heavy transplants (not cheaper imported seedling stock) which give a more fibrous root system and a better branched plant.
