Malus Aldenhamensis A delightful small tree or large shrub early foliage purplish turning greener as the summer progresses, striking deep wine red flowers.
Malus baccata The Siberian Crab is a small tree of rounded habit, producing masses of white fragrant flowers in late spring followed by small yellow or red fruits in autumn. Introduced from the Far East in about 1784.
Malus coronaria Charlottae Exceptionally beautiful small tree when in flower, large semi double delicate pink fragrant flowers. Good Autumn colour
Malus Evereste A fairly recent 'Flowering Crab' bred around 1980 good upright habit makes a small to medium tree of cone shaped outline. Plenty of starry white flowers in spring followed late summer and autumn by orange yellow fruits
Malus floribunda The Japanese Crab is a desevedly popular early flowering form. Its long arching branches are covered in early spring with white flowers, followed by red fruits.
Malus Gorgeous A small tree popular due to it's abundance of small glossy red fruits which stay on the tree through out autumn and early winter.
Malus Golden Hornet A well known and deservedly popular Crab. Its autumn display of golden yellow fruits persist long into the winter. Cheers the spirit on those gloomy winter days.
Malus John Downie An ever popular and reliable ornamental crab with very showy large orange fruits flushed with red, good for making Crab Apple Jelly.
Malus Laura Another lovely new ornamental crab introduction from by the well known breeder Hugh Ermen. Disease resistant with georgeous pink and white flowers set amongst dark purple leaves
Malus Montreal Beauty Makes a small tree ideal where space is limited. Masses of white blossom in late spring followedin autumn by eye catching large orange red flushed crabs
Malus Profusion Possibly the best of all the crabs for masses of deep wine red slightly fragrant flowers, set off by coppery red young foliage and a further bonus of a magnificent display of blood red small fruits in the autumn.

Malus Red Glow A lovely small tree with purple tinged young foliage, a perfect backdrop for the large pink flowers which are followed by good sized red fruits.
Malus Red Jade This beautiful flowering Crab has bright green young leaves on elegant weeping branches. The pink and white flowers are followed by small but conspicuous red cherry-sized fruits.
Malus Red Sentinel A superb Ornamental Crab. Masses of white blossom in spring and later a stunning display of shining red fruits which persist long into the winter.
Malus Royal Beauty A lovely small tree of weeping habit. New leaves an attractive purple red and flowers a shade or two darker still. Small red fruits in autumn
Malus Royalty A Canadian form of flowering Crab which makes a small upright tree. The attractive glossy dark purple leaves blend well with the deep red-purple flowers.
Malus Rudolf Delightful deep pink flower buds produced in abundance opening to a rosy red. Makes a small tree of easy cultivation
Malus sargentii Makes only a small shrubby tree but makes up for its lack of size with a superb display of pure white blossom which simply covers the tree.

Malus Snow Cloud A narrow upright tree of small size with dark green foliage and billowing mass of white double flower blossom
Malus Sun Rival Makes a small weeping unbrella shaped tree, masses of pink buds opening to produce a cloud of white. In autumn bright red fruits. A good disease free alternative to M. Red Jade
Malus sylvestris

Common Crab Apple. This native small tree has pink-white flowers in spring, followed by red-flushed yellow-green fruits. Makes excellent Crab Apple Jelly.

Malus toringoides A real favourite of mine, you cant help but be won over by this small graceful tree and its slightly fragrant creamy white flowers in May
Malus tschonoskii Makes a good sized tree with attractive pink tinged white blossom and bold foliage, its full glory however is in the autumn when it produces a fantastic display of colour ranging from yellow, to orange-red and purple.
Malus White Star An excellent ornamental Crab with a stunning display of white star like flowers followed by small yellow fruits in the autumn, disease resistant and strong growing.
