Verbena bonariensis Unforgettable sight in late summer when planted on mass. Tall wiry stems and branches topped with a tuft of tiny purple blue fragrant flowers. Seeds itself freely  
Veronica gentianoides A mat forming plant with flowers of the palest blue during May.  
Veronica incana Heidikind Makes a good plant for a sunny spot at the front of the border, grows to about 2ft with dark green lance shaped leaves and blue flowers, very attractive.
