Rosa arvensis

A choice, vigorous rose bearing pale creamy white flowers followed by small red hips. Good as ground covering.

Rosa canina

Wild rose with delicate pink or white lightly scented flowers. They make wonderful displays in the hedgerows during June and July, followed in autumn by bright red egg shaped fruits.

 

Rosa rubignosa

The Eglantine Rose. Spiny arching rose with single pink flowers followed by red hips in Autumn. Makes an excellent natural security hedge.

Rosa rubrifolia (glauca) Quite distinctive in flower and leaf both being differing shades of red and mauve
Rosa rugosa

Persistently popular, this easy to grow rose can be seen poking its red-pink flowers through native hedgerows all summer.

Rosa rugosa Alba

Wonderful papery white blooms over a long period, easy to grow in most situations and like its pink cousin, it makes a good hedge.

Rosa spinosissima

Dense, spreading, thorny rose with single creamy flowers borne freely in mid summer followed by purplish black hips. Very good for dry conditions.
