Mahoberis aquisargentii A most unusual intergeneric hybrid of Mahonia and Berberis. It makes a medium sized dense evergreen shrub of upright habit. It has varying shaped leaves, some with 2cm long spines, all dark green and shiny. Black berries follow pale yellow flowers.

The Honeybush is a wonderful half hardy evergreen shrub. In sheltered areas it is a lovley sight with its glaucous pinnate leaves and crimson-brown tubular flowers in terminal spikes.

Mitraria coccinea Clarkes Form A low spreading evergreen, height 2-3ft, width 3-4ft. Bright orange-red tubular flowers in late spring & summer. Grow in partial shade and avoid chalky soils.
