Order Processing

Once your order has been placed through the shopping cart you will receive an automatically generated email from PayPal showing that the transaction was successful. If you have made an e-mail enquiry/order you will be contacted by a member of our sales team.

All orders are accepted subject to the plants in your order being available for sale at the time of your order. If we can not supply the exact plants you have ordered, we will offer a substitute in size or variety / species. If neither is suitable then a refund or e-voucher will be issued.

If there are any problems with your order we will contact you within 3 – 5 working days.

Orders are normally dispatched within 7 – 10 working days. However at busy times it may take up to 14 working days. In some cases weather conditions may mean we are unable to pick your order, we will of course advise you of the reasons for any delay.

Please contact us if you require your order by a specific date and we will endeavor to accommodate your request.

Bare Root orders are only dispatched during the season of November to April. If your order contains a mixture of Bare Root and Container Grown Plants and you place your order outside this period, we will treat your bare root order as a pre-order for the next season. Your Container Grown Plants will be dispatched to you however you will be contacted and be charged additional postage for two deliveries. Or you can ask for you whole order to be dispatched as one in Bare Root season. Container Grown plants will be dispatched all year round.

Payment and security

We accept all major credit and debit cards and can receive payments via Paypal or over the telephone. We do not hold any information concerning your financial details.

We also accept payment by cash or cheque. Please provide you cheque guarantee details on the back of your cheque.

All credit card processing is handled securely by PayPal the leading online payment service. We do not hold any information concerning your financial details. Using the Shopping Cart on this web-site, you will enter your credit / debit card details directly onto the secure PayPal site that will transfer your payment to our bank account

Delivery

All orders are delivered via courier, unless we advise otherwise. We normally dispatch on Wednesday for delivery next day (Thursday by 4pm). If there is no one to sign for the parcel, we assume that it is safe to leave with a neighbour unless you tell us otherwise. If you wish delivery on a specific day, we may be able to arrange this given sufficient notice, but we may need to charge extra.

All orders are specially and securely packaged to keep the root system moist and arrive at your door safely.

We will contact you if your order is too large to be delivered via parcel couriers. If this is the case we use a pallet service.

Our Delivery Charge is calculated on a Unit Price according to the size of your order. You will be able to view the cost of delivery as you add items to your shopping Cart.

Delivery To Scottish Highlands, Scotland Offshore, Northern Ireland, Eire, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight & Channel Islands. We can ship to the above destinations; however we cannot calculate the Delivery Charge directly through the Shopping Cart. Please contact us and we will quote you for delivery

We only ship to the UK; no orders for delivery outside the UK can be taken. We do not deliver to Southern Ireland and outside the UK at present.

Collection

You are welcome to collect your order from the nursery. You can visit us between 9am – 4pm weekdays and 10.30am – 4.00pm Saturday.

Your Guarantee

We believe our stock to be premium quality. They leave us in good condition and should reach you the same. If there are any problems on arrival or you are unhappy with your order please notify us within 5 days and we will rectify this. Your plants then become your responsibility for planting and after care. We provide instructions to assist with this click here. If you are planting a hedge with bare root plants some losses are to be expected.

If you’re having trouble with your bare root plants not coming into leaf during the spring please let us know and we will do our best to help. The easiest way is to send us a picture of the whole plant with the area it is in, the base of the plant and a close up of any problem leaves. We will contact you as soon as we can with any helpful advice or possible replacement plants; we may ask you to cover the cost of delivery.

VAT

All prices quoted on this website and the Shopping Cart include VAT at the rate prevailing at time of delivery. Vat invoices sent on request.
