English Native Woodland Trees

We have a large selection of bare root native trees, in season, plus pot grown native trees for all year round planting. They are suitable for many situations, ranging from single specimens to whole new woodland schemes.

Botanica’s healthy native trees are of genuine British origin, where the seeds and cuttings originate from native and naturally grown British stock. They are certificated for their British Provenance, which makes them more suited to the vagaries of the British climate.

Our quality British grown native trees are superior transplanted stock not seedlings.

Unlike many continental imported trees, they will establish themselves quickly; grow with greater vigour and flower and fruit at the right time according to our seasons.

We grow a range of bare root native trees naturally in the soil and our pot grown native trees are grown in our very own special 100% peat free compost so we can guarantee the superb quality of our genuine British origin trees.

Starting from young seedlings, we carefully tend, train and grow our trees on through a range of sizes right up to and including wonderful large semi-mature specimens. Throughout this process we can therefore provide an amazing selection of choice and sizes available all year round.

For our large, semi- mature trees and shrubs we use the groundbreaking new technology of Air Pots, which produce dense non-spiralling root systems that increases the quality of our native trees as well as the speed and ease of establishment when planted.
